   Brief Description

Equipment suitable for print & verification, coding and serialization of cartons, providing a solution to the Track and trace requirements for pharmaceutical products.

Serialization module - TPVA

Machine for printing and verification of traceability data in carton packages, creating a serial code for each box. In addition, this machine ensures the proper readability of information for humans, allowing verification by the patients, under normal conditions of preservation of the product throughout its useful life.

The ONELITE traceability system allows to process batches of medicinal products creating unambiguous codes, according to GS1 standard recommendations, for each unit (in sequential or aleatory order). At the same time, the system creates a database of easy viewing, with restricted access depending of user level according the security required for that information, in conformity with CFR 21 part 11 (FDA).

The ONELITE serialization machine incorporates InkJet thermal transfer printer, capable of printing alphanumeric digits as well as linear and 2D barcodes like GS1 DataMatrix mainly for pharmaceutical application. Additionally it is equipped with an artificial vision system to perform verification of printed information, by quick capture of images, using lenses with vision tools for 2D and OCR (Optical Character Recognition) codes, and integrated lighting. It is also possible to carry out safety verification by crossing obtained data between human readable texts and 2D codes to ensure data integrity.

Mechanically, the equipment has an adjustable conveyor for a wide variety of carton sizes, assuring a proper movement of the product, free of vibrations, in a broad range of speeds. At the output of the machine, a pneumatic ejection system removes any unlabeled or incorrectly printed carton to a rejection drawer provided with an input sensor.

The TPVA requires minimal space for emplacement and installation, allowing easy operation thanks to a 15-inch touch screen, coordinating all the processes together (labeling, printing and verification, rejection and data storage).

* Depending on the acquired version of the TPVA, the production can reach 100/200/300/400 units/minute maximum, for cartons which length is equal or lower than 80 mm. For longer cartons, maximum production may be affected.
